MooGoo Natural Milk Wash Review

I was Kindly sent a bottle of MooGoos Milk Wash to review. The MooGoo Milk Wash, has a retail price of £11.90 and is available from moogooskincare.co.uk

I was really looking forward to using this wash has my skin can be quite sensitive at times. The milk wash is gentle on the skin as it is soap free but also has the following properties:

  • A low-irritant, natural cleanser formula for the face and body

  • Made with a combination of coconut and glucose based cleansers

  • Free from harsh synthetic detergents (SLS) that can dry out the skin

  • Has the same irritation score as water, for even the most sensitive skin

  • Uses a phthalate-free fragrant oil for a beautiful smell without the sensitivity

  • Free from all synthetic preservatives like Phenoxyethanol or Parabens

  • Vegan friendly

The Milk Wash is one of their most popular products. It combines small amounts of 5 different natural cleaners as this can be gentler on skin than one concentrated cleanser. MooGoo chooses to use natural cleansers that wash well without drying out the skin.

I found that compared to other products that I have used it lathered quite well but wasn't as foamy as other products but that didn't bother much as I found a little went a long way.

The reason for the product not having a strong foaming action is due to MooGoo not using synthetic detergents like SLS (or other common culprits that end in –fate), but this is one of the main reasons I love their products as they are filled with natural ingredients that are healthier for our bodies and the environment. I try not to use any products that send nasty synthetic ingredients down our plug holes which then ends up into our water systems.

I have been using the Milk Wash for over two weeks and my skin prior to using this was quite dry and flaky and I have seen a significant improvement from using this wash.

My skin is less flaky, it feels soft and fresh after every wash. I can use it on my face and my whole body. It hasn't left my skin feeling tight, dry or itchy like other products I have used in the past.

It's thanks to a mix of natural skin conditioning ingredients that leaves your skin feeling soft after each use. It doesn't contain any essential oils that can sometimes trigger reactions when you have sensitive skin, but instead, uses a blend of Vanilla with the allergy-triggering compounds removed. Because it’s so gentle it’s also a no-tears formulation in children's eyes. I have also been using this on my youngest at bath times.

I would recommend giving it a go if you have dry sensitive skin it leaves you feeling clean and refreshed without stripping the skin of oils. Its suitable for all ages, body parts and skin types. It actually smells really nice too, so many products I've used in the past for sensitive skin as smelt a bit weird. I have found that it easily takes of my make up and I even tested to see if I could use it to shave my legs and I could. The wash is quite moisturising too.

Have you used any MooGoo products? Would love to hear what your favourite ones are?
